The purpose of this survey is to gather community input regarding an official dog park in the lower field of Wyman Park, classified by Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks (BCRP) as a “Citywide Park”. This information will help determine community recommendations for an official dog park in upcoming meetings with BCRP. It may also help inform considerations regarding updates/refinements/clarifications to BCRP’s current regulations for dog parks. Current regulations can be found here. This process has been sponsored and organized by the WPCA. OPTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONSPlease look over the following questions about options for possible off-leash areas in the lower field and respond to each. Q1. Which one of these statements about the Wyman Park lower field comes closest to your view? If you feel equally about more than one, you will have an opportunity to evaluate the options accordingly in the questions that follow. I support a completely fenced-in area for off-leash dog exercise on the lower field. I support a partially fenced-in area for off-leash dog exercise created by a fenced barrier. The barrier would separate the lower field from the existing Stony Run trail and trail users. I support an unfenced off-leash area for off-leash dog exercise on the lower field. There would be no fenced barrier between dogs exercising on the field and people using the established trail. I do not support any of these statements.
